SUN GUARDIAN GRANT PROGRAM
Melanoma Canada’s 2026 Sun Guardian Grant Application is now Closed. Please sign up to receive notifications when the Sun Guardians Grant opens in December.
The Sun Guardians Grant Program supports daycares, camps, recreation programs, and sports leagues for children and youth; enabling them to deliver sun safe solutions and reduce the risk of skin cancer.
Grant recipients must be Sun Aware Certified to qualify. Grants are tailored to each recipient’s needs and may include:
- Sunscreen
- UPF clothing
- Shade structures
- UV color-changing bracelets and stickers
- Sun safety training for staff
- Posters and a social media toolkit
Your camp, community, or recreation facility must be SunAware certified to qualify for a Sun Guardian Grant. Daycares must be SunSense certified.
